Celebrating over 50 years of quality musical theatre!

Founded in 1968 we are one of  the longest running community theatres in the area exclusively producing musical theatre.

About the Opera House PLayers:

The Opera House Players is a nonprofit volunteer-based community theatre group based out of Enfield CT. Founded in 1968 (originally the St Martha Players) we are one of the oldest groups in the area performing exclusively musical theatre. In 2003 we moved from Enfield to Broad Brook, and became the Opera house Players. Since then we have continued to uphold and grow our reputation for high quality award winning productions. We perform four shows a season, with a variety ranging from comedy to drama, contemporary to classic, as well as multiple fundraisers a year. We always make sure there is something for everyone.

Now after 15 years in Broad Brook the Opera House Players is thrilled to be returning to our original home town of Enfield, CT! This move will coincide with our 50th anniversary. There’s a lot of work to be done before our new theatre space is ready to give our patrons the best possible theater experience, so please consider donating to help us finish our forever home.
